Maths- Practise reciting the doubles that you learnt this week. E.g. double 1 is... double 2 is...

Literacy- Click on the document below to read the story of The Gingerbread Man. Can you write a sentence to go with the picture from the story?
Maths- Continuing to think about doubles, complete the ladybirds below by drawing the correct number of dots to complete their doubles. You could draw the ladybirds in your workbooks. When you have finished, write out the number sentence to go with each ladybird in your books. E.g. 7+7=14.
Understanding the World- Have a look at the document below and learn about road safety. Answer the questions during the story and have a chat with your family about how we can be safe when out walking and crossing the road.

Maths- Hold up 1 finger, can you double it? Say aloud double 1 is 2. Repeat for each number up to 5.
Practice doubles up to 20 by completing the sheet below. You could draw out the dominoes in your work book.
Understanding the World- Have a look at the document below showing different types of homes. Discuss what sort of home you and your family live in. What sort of home do your grandparents/ aunties and uncles or friends live in. Talk about the differences and how people might live in different types of places.

Literacy- Read the story of Cinderella by clicking on the document below.
Using the template below, can you design your own invitation? It could be an invitation to the ball like Cinderella, a football party or something else- the choice is yours!

PSED- Think about your family. You all belong to the same family but you are all different! Discuss the ways in which you are different e.g. Mum might have long hair but you have short hair. Daddy might wear glasses but your sister might not.

Literacy- Write a couple of sentences to describe your VE day celebrations or something that you did over the weekend. Don't forget to use your finger spaces and full stops! Can you include some tricky words?
Maths- This week we will be looking at doubling. Hold up 1 finger, can you double it? (hold up 1 finger on the other hand). Say aloud double 1 is 2. Repeat for each number up to 5. Now test your knowledge by completing the sheet below. You can draw out the dominoes in your books.
Expressive Arts- Can you practise your sketching skills and have a go at creating your own New York skyline like the one below? This activity will really test your concentration skills too!
PSED- Have a chat with your family about how everyone is feeling today. Can everyone describe one thing that they have enjoyed from the past week? What is everyone looking forward to after lock down finishes?
