Video Calls

This week I will be scheduling video calls via Zoom with groups of children. Parents please keep an eye on your emails for an invite to a scheduled time smiley

Physical Development- Join in with Joe Wicks as he hosts a live workout from 9am. The workout will last 30 minutes and will inspire and energise you to get active, bounce around and have fun! Click here to join in!

Literacy- Click here to watch the story of Whatever Next. Think about the picture showing Baby Bear

having a picnic on the moon, what he did take with him? Next list 5 items that you would take to the moon, writing the list in your work books. Don't forget to include numbers or bullet points so that you know how many objects you've got!

Maths- Practice your number formation and write numbers in order 0-20 in your workbooks. Now write them again but this time counting down from 20-0.

PSED- Have a chat with your family about what will happen when the lockdown is lifted. What are you looking forward to doing?

Understanding the World- This Friday is the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day (VE day). On this day people celebrate the end of World War Two. As the following PDF document explains we were going to celebrate as a whole school but obviously this is no longer possible. Instead we are inviting families to have their own celebration party at home!

I will not be setting a new Understanding the World activity each day, instead I would like you to explore the document and powerpoint featured below and spend some time each day thinking about and preparing for the celebrations on Friday. Maybe you could turn your house red, white and blue and make your own bunting? Or maybe you'd like to bake some cakes and decorate them red, white and blue! Whatever you decide to do, please send in pictures so that we can feature them on our Facebook page and website!
