Welcome to another day of home learning! I hope you have started to have a look at the wild challenge for this week - there are lots to choose from but for some of them you might need some good weather to go outside. In science today you will be learning more about animals and what they eat, I can tell some of you already know lots of interesting facts I hope you learn some more today.

No zoom call today, back tomorrow at 11am.

Have a good day!

Maths Blue Group - Subtraction not crossing 10

Today you are going to be doing some more subtraction but this time using counting back on number lines or number tracks. Remember to only count the steps or jumps back and not the number you start on!

Maths Green Group - Subtract a 1-digit number from a 2-digit number - crossing 10 - Activity

Today you will be doing a subtraction activity and completing question 6 from the worksheet last Friday. Some scrap paper to make number cards from might be useful.
If you try the challenge take a look at the tips for problem solving too and when you've had a go look at my answers carefully - they are quite tricky today. You need to understand what you know and what you are trying to find out and use a trial and error method where you test a number to see if it is correct as the answer and if not try another one that is either bigger or smaller depending upon the answer - have a try!
