Week 7 (W/C 4th May

Friday 8th May VE Day

Good morning Crane Class,

I hope that you are able to enjoy the sunshine today. Today is the 75th Anniversary of VE Day - the day WW2 ended in Europe. Miss Thompson had organised for the whole school to celebrate VE Day by holding a whole school party. However, you can still have your own party at home to celebrate. Remember to wear something red, blue, white or all three! We have attached a video of Miss Thompson's Nan, who has kindly given up her time to explain what life was like during the war. If you take any photos of your celebrations, please email them to us, as Miss Thompson would like to put them in a video for all to see! Have fun!

VE Day 75th Anniversary Celebrations

WW2 as told by Miss Thompson's Nan

Thursday 7th May 2020

Good Morning Crane class,

It's going to be another sunny day today so I hope that you all manage to get outside and enjoy it.  Tomorrow is bank holiday, so I won't be putting any learning on for you, but remember we have added some activity ideas you may enjoy doing in preparation for Friday or on Friday.  Myself and Mrs Taylor have really enjoyed seeing some of you on Zoom this week and we are looking forward to seeing more of you today.  You all seem to have grown and there have been lots of visits from the tooth fairy too.

Have a good day and remember I love hearing from you!

VE Day

Wednesday 6th May 2020

Good Morning Crane Class,

I hope that you are all well and that you managed to enjoy the sunshine yesterday.  I have added the work for today below.

As Friday is a bank holiday, we will not be posting work for that day. However, as it is a special day celebrating the 75th anniversary of VE day we have added some activity ideas you may enjoy doing in preparation for Friday or on Friday.  We have included a power point you could look at so you understand what VE day is all about. I have added it at the bottom of today's work.

Have a good day and if you have any questions, please email me
