Week 7 (4th - 8th May)
VE DAY 75th Anniversary
Friday 8th May is the 75th Anniversary of VE Day - the day WW2 ended in Europe. Miss Thompson had organised for the whole school to celebrate VE Day by holding a whole school party. However, you can still have your own party at home to celebrate. Remember to wear something red, blue, white or all three! We have attached a video of Miss Thompson's Nan, who has kindly given up her time to explain what life was like during the war. If you take any photos of your celebrations, please email them to us, as Miss Thompson would like to put them in a video for all to see! Have fun!

Good morning year 2!
Hope you all had a good day yesterday? We had our first zoom meeting yesterday. It was great to see some of you and we can't wait to see some more of you later today.
As Friday is a bank holiday, we will not be posting work for that day. However, as it is a special day celebrating the 75th anniversary of VE day we have added some activity ideas you may enjoy doing in preparation for Friday or on Friday. We have included a power point you could look at so you understand what VE day is all about.
Remember to keep in touch. We love to hear from you
