Good morning Goldfinch.  I hope that you have all had a wonderful weekend.  Thank you for the photo's you've sent in.  Below are some lovely photo's of you completing some brilliant work and also exploring outside.  Miss Syrad has also shared some brilliant photo's from her allotment!  It was really great to see so many of you on our Zoom call on Friday.

Maths

In maths please use this week to work on your times tables.  I have included some activities below, but you can work on these with an adult too.  Have a look at Numberblocks  -this is great for looking at groups of numbers.  Also, a nice maths cartoon to watch is Team Umizoomi, they go through numbers, shapes and patterns in a fun cartoon.

English

Please spend some time this week working through your spellings and reading.  Phonics play has lots of games to play on.  Perhaps play 'Hangman' or 'Scrabble' with someone at home.  You could even create your own cross word and make your own word search.  Each day read to an adult or independently.

'Ruth Miskin' has lots of phonics lessons which is put onto Youtube each day.
