Thursday 26th March 2020

Morning to you all and I hope that you are keeping well. Are you are getting ready to show off your spidey moves and karate kicks with Joe at 9? But remember no jumping on the walls!

If you want to join in the Maths today, please can you draw 3 circles and find either 6 or 10 items.  Using these can you find all the different ways to make 6 (easier) or 10 (harder) using 2 numbers and write it up in your book.  See below for examples: yes

Some more brilliant work!

Wednesday 25th March 2020

A sunny morning to you all.  I've posted some more work today, but like I've said before please do not feel you have to do it all smiley Remember keep fit with Joe at 9.

Pick only one Maths task and, like yesterday, the one your child is comfortable with.  For Task 2, your child can draw lines and dots to represent tens and ones.  If you get stuck on one, miss it out and move onto the next one.

Tuesday 24th March 2020

Morning everyone.  I was really happy to see some of your fabulous work yesterday. I'm really looking forward to seeing more and posting some of it on our webpage.  Keep it up! You can contact me via eanderson@manor.reading.sch.uk  Remember to get fit with Joe Wicks - live at 9

There are two maths tasks but you only have to pick one to complete (Note to parents - Maths task 2 is more of a challenge so I encourage you to go with what your child is comfortable with. For counting I would recommend getting them to count practically with items from your home as much as you can.)  Please record the answers in the green book.  However some may not need to be recorded and you can get a parent to write it if it is a longer answer. I will post the answers tomorrow if you would like to mark your own work.  Good luck and if you need any help please contact me.

Keeping in touch

Please keep in touch with us! It would be lovely to hear how you're getting on, what you're up to, and what you're doing to enjoy your time at home. I can't promise to get back to you instantly, but I'll do our best to reply as quickly as I can.
