I hope you had a good first day of home learning yesterday and I was very pleased to receive some emails showing me what you had done. Please let me know how you are getting on and if there is anything else you would like to see on your home learning pages.
Today, you also have some red words in your phonics (it is a very short video) and a sentence to gold and write. We will also be starting our geography topic about homes and shelters and our local area.

Maths - Ten more ten less
Please watch the video to practice finding ten more and ten less of a number and complete the worksheet.
You might want to practice counting forwards and backwards in tens - there is a 100 square on the worksheet you could use to help you. Can you start at a multiple of 10 e.g. 30, 40, 50 and can you also count in tens starting at any number e.g. 35, 42 ?
Remember you can draw images like base 10 and use the 100 square to help you work out the answers. Pause and replay the video if you need to and read the questions carefully! Please contact me if you need more help.
