Common Exception Words - Ask a parent or sibling to give you a spelling test on words you have been working on over the week. Did you get some of them right? Well done, you can tick that word on your sheet.

Common Exception Words - Kim's Game - Say the word out loud as you lay out 5 of the word cards. Close your eyes (no cheating!) and get your parent or siblings to remove one. Can you write down the missing word? Put the word back and repeat until you've done all the words. How did you get on?

Common Exception Words to music - pick two words and see how many times you can write them out whilst playing your favourite song. Can you beat your score the next time you play it?
