Bonfire Night!

The children spent some time learning about Bonfire Night. We talked about the different ways people might celebrate for example by having fireworks and bonfires and then we enjoyed toasting marshmallows over our own mini bonfire! We had great fun! If you’re having your own fireworks for Bonfire Night have fun and stay safe!

Phonics

Here is some information about how we teach Phonics at Manor. There is also a letter formation sheet, so that your child can practise writing their letters at home.

Last week Reception read the story of Stickman by Julia Donaldson and then made their own stickmen! Thank you to everyone who collected sticks for us! We hope you enjoy seeing our creations in the following picture slideshows.
