Meet Our Team

Year 1 - Dove Class

Class Teacher - Mrs C Haines

I have now been teaching for about 16 years, starting my career at Manor Primary after completing a music degree and PGCE in primary education.  From a young age I wanted to work with children as they are energetic, lively and all have individual and vibrant personalities making each working day unique.  It’s fantastic to watch every child develop, both academically and personally.  In my spare time, I enjoy socialising with friends and spending quality family time with my husband and two children.

Teaching Assistant - Mrs T Slade

I have been a Teaching Assistant for over 20 years. I love supporting the children in their learning and enjoy watching each of their different personalities develop. I like to be creative and come up with a variety of activities that children can take part in to develop their skills and knowledge whilst having fun at the same time.

Teaching Assistant - Ms A Evans

I started working at Manor when my daughter was 11 months old (she’s now managing a branch of Marks and Spencer!). I have loved working at Manor as I have worked all over the school, even though I was initially employed to work in FS1. My passion is supporting special educational needs using interventions and specific teaching plans. Working with some very talented staff over the years has enabled me to gain valuable skills and expertise. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family and acting in plays.

Teaching Assistant - Mrs J Taylor

I started at Manor 23 years ago, first of all as a lunchtime assistant then working voluntarily in Nursery with the occasional time spent supporting pupils in Goldfinch class. I then progressed to being a level three Teaching Assistant and am currently working with Year 1 after having worked with Years 2, 3 & 4. After school I devote my time to running a successful Phonics club. I have 2 children and 3 gorgeous grandchildren that take up most of my time. However, when I do get time I love to bake and spend time in the garden- weather permitting!

Year 2 - Eagle Class

Class Teacher - Mrs K Morris (Monday to Wednesday)

I graduated from Reading University in 2001, with a degree in Education and Mathematics and then began my teaching career at Manor Primary School.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Manor and have been lucky enough to work in all phases and with all year groups.  From a young age I knew I wanted to work with children and I love the variety and rewards that teaching brings - no two days are the same!  It is a privilege to witness and be part of the growth and development of young minds.  When I’m not working, I enjoy socialising with friends and spending quality time with my husband and three children.

Class Teacher - Mrs C Carlucci (Wednesday to Friday)

I have been a teacher since 2010 after studying Primary Education for 4 years at Winchester University. I have had experience working across many phases throughout my career at Manor, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I love that teaching gives me the opportunity to inspire and challenge the children in my class and that no two days are ever the same.
