Welcome to Jay

Our Class Aims

Our aim in Jay Class is to make sure that all children come in to class smiling. Where possible we try to make our lessons as active as we can, this means a lot of our learning is done outside the classroom, in the playground and in the school garden. We have created a classroom where mistakes are learning points, where sharing ideas and talking are key, where opinions matter just as much as facts. In Jay class we strive for progress not perfection.

Meet Our Team

Miss D Marney

I have been working in Primary Education since 2005, having worked across all key stages. I graduated from Reading University with a BA Honours Degree in Children’s Development and Learning and I became a qualified teacher in July 2020.  I enjoy working with children, enabling them to gain knowledge about their immediate environment and the wider world.

Miss K Stubbs

I started volunteering at Manor in 2017, soon after I became employed as a Lunchtime assistant, working in Nursery. In April 2018 a Teaching Assistant position became available and I was offered the role. During my time at Manor I have had the opportunity to work in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I’ve really enjoyed supporting children in class to make sure they fulfil their full potential. In my spare time, I’m kept busy with my 3 children who have all attended Manor.
