Good Morning Dove Class, 

It's Friday and you have nearly completed your first week of Home learning.  You have all done incredibly well and I am really enjoying seeing all of the photos.  Please keep emailing and sending me photos.

English- Phonics, Reading and Writing

Please refer to the phonic groups list below to support you with finding the correct learning for your child.  There is a  read, hold and write a sentence for each group where appropriate.  If you have any questions, please email me.

For Reading, please go to https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/ and follow the use the log in and username sent to you via email.  Go to the Read Write Inc library and select the correct colour book.  This should of been on the email too but please email if you have any questions.

During Maths, we would normally use a lot of practical resources to support our understanding.  These are not available to you at home, so I have thought of a few alternatives that you could use:

10 frames (you will recognise these from the work sheet).  I have attached a copy of some that you could print off or you could draw some on paper.  To make the numbers in the 10 frames, we use counters in school but at home you could use coins, lego cubes etc.

 

For the base 10 (tens and ones), you could use long lego sticks with 10 dots for a ten and a small lego piece with 1 dot for a one.
