The Dfe have continued to fund the sports grant for primary students and this is allocated against the October Census.
The Sports Funding is allocated on an academic year basis and is paid in April and November of each year. This financial year allocation is therefore made up of £7,750 from 17/18 academic year April 18 to July 18 and £10,868 for 18/19 academic year September 18 to March 19, giving a total funding income of £18,618 for 18/19 financial year. This has been confirmed and a further £7,763 will be paid in 19/20 financial year to cover the remainder of this current academic year.
This funding should be spent against set criteria that is sustainable and increases the activity levels in primary aged children.

Skip 2 be Fit |
All children to do 2 minutes skipping each day to beat the weekly PB. |

Children use their own skipping rope to skip for2 minutes every day. Each child has their own skipping rope that they keep in school and use every day for practice. |
